Reviews

Before Christmas, I asked my daughter (age 50) what she wanted for Christmas. She named a batch of Alfred Piano Books. What? OK, if that is what you want. My daughter has a piano from decades ago, when her own kids abandoned lessons and went on to other noteworthy stuff (basketball, gymnastics, etc.)I couldn't imagine what my daughter wanted with these books. I personally cannot believe that a skills such as playing the piano, can be transferred from a book.Recently, I was at her house and reading, and I heard the piano, and I recognized the tune - a song I liked. I thought - NO WAY! Oh yes! Way! My daughter is playing the piano and making excellent progress, and having the time of her life while doing it. It seems she always kinda wanted to know how to play. And - By George (or more appropriately "By Alfred" or "By W.A. Palmer") she is playing!I am amazed, and I am very happy with the results of these books! So is my daughter! Absolutely recommend them!!!! FIVE STARS for Alfred's Basic Piano Course
